Freeform's Shadowhunters:

Earlier in the year I did a television critique over the Masked Singer and here I am again coming to the world of television. This isn't necessarily a critique more of a way to showcase something that is one of my favorite series ever. The show didn't just come about overnight the whole series is based off the bestselling novels of Cassandra Clare. The Mortal Instruments books series has been around since the first book was released in 2007. Cassandra Clare has many other book series but this is her most famous one. When the books came out I was huge book nerd. I read every single book of the six book series and have even considered rereading them for maybe the fourth time. (I've kind of lost track) The series takes place in modern day New York City and follows the unusual life of Clary Fray who lives with her mother and as far as she knew her father had passed away in war. However, Clary's mom is keeping a huge secret from her  but on her 18th birthday Clary i...

Classmate Blog Critique:

Throughout the semester I've really enjoyed reading all my classmates blogs over different topics but today I'm going to talk about a few blogs I thought were impressive. Especially since I know like most college students we wait till the last minute to work on these and it's even more impressive how well put together these blogs were. One student's blog I throughly enjoyed was Desmion Owens as all of his blogs were different but he had great themes and topics. His first blog for music review was one of my favorite he did. He covered artist Ella Mai a British artist that hit fame in 2018 with her first hit Boo'd Up. I love the way Desmion words his blogs like his opening remark for this blog he said "This beautiful British songstress took over the world in 2018 with her sweet voice, catchy melodic hooks, and amazing sexual appeal to audience that fell in love with her instantly." Instead of a cut and dry worded blog post his review flows and is very...

Instagram Models:

Does wearing fashionable expensive clothes and posting pictures of you in them for money sound like fun? If so you can be like the hundreds of Instagram models that are raking in the money for doing the same thing every basic teenager has been doing since Instagram's release in 2010. Obviously there are the top models in the world who actually walk the runways and work with top name designers. A list was recently released on upfluence.com naming the Top 50 Instagram Models to Follow in 2019 . It's no surprise that the #1 top model on Instagram is the one and only Kendall Jenner . Her fame started as being born into the number one reality television family, the Kardashians. Jenner is a regular runway model but uses her social media to boost her favorite brands, and of course to get a little more cash. She promotes top brands like Chanel, Versace, Victoria's Secret, Vogue, and Stuart Weitzman. Jenner makes cash for posting pictures of her wearing outfits from her sho...

Makeup Critics:

We always talk about media critics ones who cover movies, music, and books. Believe it or not there are people out there who do makeup reviews on products for millions to watch. The main platform for these reviews is Youtube where makeup artists that have 8 million or more followers who watch them on a weekly basis. Youtube stars like Jeffree Star, James Charles, Jaclyn Hill, Olivia Vargus, etc. One of my personal favorites to watch review makeup is Jeffree Star, who has 13 million subscribers and his net worth is estimated at a shocking $50 million. He has his own makeup line Jeffree Star Cosmetics which is sold by the makeup distributor Sephora. Star is known for his cosmetics line and his ability to tell the truth no matter whose feelings he hurts. He has multiple reviews of top makeup brands like Fenty Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics, and E.L.F.. I enjoy watching Jeffree's videos covering the brands and how he goes about the review. Instead of beating around the bush he is ve...

Technology is forever evolving and Samsung is always coming out with something new to enhance day to day life with their ideas. The Samsung Smart Refrigerator is changing the game in kitchens everywhere, well if you have a spare $3,000 that is. Now how does Samsung convince people that spending $3,000 dollars on a refrigerator is normal? By marketing tactics like "It's more than a fridge. It's the Family Hub." This pricey unit lets you view your family schedule and even send SMS messages to family members for daily reminders.  The Family Hub Fridge has four main categories to access on the 21.5 inch touch screen located on the right door panel.
