Freeform's Shadowhunters:

Earlier in the year I did a television critique over the Masked Singer and here I am again coming to the world of television. This isn't necessarily a critique more of a way to showcase something that is one of my favorite series ever. The show didn't just come about overnight the whole series is based off the bestselling novels of Cassandra Clare. The Mortal Instruments books series has been around since the first book was released in 2007. Cassandra Clare has many other book series but this is her most famous one. When the books came out I was huge book nerd. I read every single book of the six book series and have even considered rereading them for maybe the fourth time. (I've kind of lost track) The series takes place in modern day New York City and follows the unusual life of Clary Fray who lives with her mother and as far as she knew her father had passed away in war. However, Clary's mom is keeping a huge secret from her  but on her 18th birthday Clary i...

Classmate Blog Critique:

Throughout the semester I've really enjoyed reading all my classmates blogs over different topics but today I'm going to talk about a few blogs I thought were impressive. Especially since I know like most college students we wait till the last minute to work on these and it's even more impressive how well put together these blogs were. One student's blog I throughly enjoyed was Desmion Owens as all of his blogs were different but he had great themes and topics. His first blog for music review was one of my favorite he did. I love the way Desmion words his blogs like his opening remark for this blog he said "This beautiful British songstress took over the world in 2018 with her sweet voice, catchy melodic hooks, and amazing sexual appeal to audience that fell in love with her instantly." Instead of a cut and dry worded blog post his review flows and is very...

Something that connects countries around the world is art and that's just what things like Art Insider are doing connecting artist everywhere. In a previous blog I briefly discussed just what this special online news source is doing. Now, Insider.com is the owner of all the spinoffs like Beauty Insider, Art Insider, etc.. they report and show artwork on their website. On top of running their website they have subscriptions available on Snapchat for you to follow. So today I want to discuss the many different art trends sweeping the globe right now. First i'm going to start off in Australia, where group of balloon artist called Pimp My Balloons are designing huge balloon costumes. The artists have been creating them for five years now and are still thriving. The costumes or huge sculptures can last up to four weeks and are completely biodegradable. The balloons are also turned into compost so none of the sculptures go to waste. Also involved in the crazy world of ballo...
